More Professors Added at Unri, BDP Lecturer Prof. Saberina is One of Them

Pekanbaru, UnriNews - At the age of 61, the University of Riau (UNRI) again inaugurated 13 Professors which was carried out on Wednesday (1/11/2023) at the University of Riau Student Activity Center Building (PKM UNRI) Pattimura Gobah campus.

The Professors who were inaugurated at the Open Senate Session of the University of Riau were Prof. Dr. Dra. Vince Ratnawati MSi Ak in the Field of Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Dr. Awaludin Martin ST MT in the Field of Energy Conversion and Conservation at the Faculty of Engineering.

Next are Prof. Dr. Zaili Rusli MSi in the Field of Development Administration Science at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Prof. Dr. Saberina Hasibuan SPi MT in the Field of Aquaculture Science at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Prof. Dr. Minarni MSc in the Field of Photonics and Plasma Science, Prof. Nery Sofiyanti SSi MSi PhD in the Field of Plant Biodiversity Science and Prof. Dr. Rahmi Dewi MSi in the Field of Material Physics Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ir. Arman Effendi AR MS in the Field of Agronomy and Prof. Dr. Ir. Evy Rossi MSc in the Field of Fungional Food Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, as well as Prof. Dr. Neni Hermita SPd MPd in ​​the Field of Elementary School Teacher Education, Prof. Dr. Indah Tri Purwanti Mapp Ling in the Field of Applied Linguistics, Prof. Dr. Zulirfan SSi MSi in the Field of Inquiry Science in Teaching Physics Science Education and Prof. Dr. Sumarno MPd MSi in the Field of Economic Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education.

With the inauguration of 13 Professors, UNRI currently has 107 active Professors with details of 24 Professors in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, 7 Professors in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, 14 Professors in the Faculty of Economics and Business, 21 Professors in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, 7 Professors in the Faculty of Agriculture, 15 Professors in the Faculty of Engineering, 18 Professors in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and 1 Professor in the Faculty of Medicine.

The Chancellor of the University of Riau, Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti SE MSi, congratulated him on being entrusted with the title of Professor at the University of Riau. "Congratulations on the title of Professor. Hopefully, with this title of Professor, we can contribute and synergize together in strengthening the academic reputation of the University of Riau, both at the National and International levels," said Sri Indarti.

In 2023, UNRI has inaugurated 24 Professors. The inauguration of Professors for the November period is the 3rd inauguration carried out by UNRI.

Previously, in the March period, UNRI inaugurated 2 Professors, in the July period, UNRI also inaugurated 9 Professors, and today there are 13 Professors.

With the addition of the number of Professors at UNRI, it is part of 10 strategic programs of the University of Riau, including research productivity and innovation based on local excellence with internationally reputable publications and increasing international accreditation for strategic study programs, continued the Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
