Service Description:

The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Riau, is a service unit responsible for managing and providing public information within the faculty in line with transparency principles. The PPID ensures that the public has access to accurate, timely, and transparent information regarding various activities, policies, and services offered by the faculty.

Duties and Functions of PPID:

1. Public Information Management: Collecting, managing, and storing information related to the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
2. Public Information Services: Providing services to the public to access information about academic activities, research, community service, and other information managed by the faculty.
3. Documentation Provision: Archiving official documents, activity reports, and other public data for internal and external purposes.
4. Ensuring Transparency and Openness: Ensuring the openness of public information in accordance with applicable laws, particularly the Public Information Disclosure Act (Law No. 14 of 2008).

Types of Information Accessible:

1. Regular Information: Data and information that is routinely made available to the public, such as annual reports, faculty policies, and academic data.
2. Immediate Information: Information that must be immediately provided to the public in certain situations requiring public attention.
3. Information Available Anytime: Other information that can be accessed at any time, such as data on students, lecturers, research, and community service.

Mechanism for Requesting Information:

1. Written Request: The applicant submits a written request for information through a form provided by the PPID of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
2. Verification of Request: The PPID verifies the completeness and validity of the information request.
3. Information Delivery: Once verified, the PPID provides the requested information within the specified time frame in accordance with the regulations.
